The mold that will form on them is not healthy for you. It's best to store them outside in a covered area. I put mine in the shed. They can be dried on the vine in warmer zones, but I'm in zone 5 and it usually snows before they get hard. Nice collection of gourds you have there. I didn't grow any this year....definitely need to do a patch next year though. I missed them. The flowers blooming on them are so pretty. I would recommend not drying your gourds in the house.
